Bank offers Bharti US$1b loan for MTN stake plan (Business Times (Malaysia))

MUMBAI: State Bank of India has offered a loan of up to US$1 billion (US$1 = RM3.53) to Bharti Airtel to partly fund the Indian telecoms firm’s planned stake buy in South Africa’s MTN, two sources said.
